The weird end of summer lull we experienced is no more, we are open for business once again. The end of August presented a very unique slowdown that I did not foresee due to how hectic the market was prior, but people indeed took a combined break from buying.
This week showings were up on all of our listings as well as noticeably more business card traffic on showings we were on. We also submitted an offer against a multiple offer situation which we haven't encountered in over a month.
Do I think we are returning to the "roaring 20s" of this past spring? No, but I do think Santa may have a very robust housing market going well into the holidays.
