A Bit About Me

Life is what happens when you're busy making plans.  Who would have thunk it, me selling real estate...and loving it!  

My life before real estate; I was a Music Education major at Montclair State University before deciding that was not the path for me, at which point I left to pursue other avenues.  I spent a year in retail (visuals and merchandising for Gap Inc) before landing a job I LOVED as an auto mechanic.  I worked in both private garages as well as dealerships before leaving to hit the road with the band I was in at the time, Streetlight Manifesto.  After a couple of years touring/recording and having the most amazing experience, I left to come back to New Jersey.  

I spent the next 15 years buying, selling and building classic cars, and bought a foreclosed house (read: trashed house) in 2008 in Monmouth County.  That was my first taste of real estate, and I was hooked.  

After renovating the entire house with the help of my best friend Ryan (also a car guy) I learned through Youtube videos and library books how to diagnose and repair home problems, similar to how I learned automotive systems.  After buying/fixing/living in and selling a few homes, I decided to get away from the auto industry slowly as my body was telling me it was time, and transitioned into real estate.  

I bring to the table 10 years of experience in the transactional side of real estate, including short sales, foreclosures, flips and first time buys, all aided by decades of experience renovating homes, so you can feel comfortable knowing what you are getting into with your purchase.  

Recently our family has taken advantage of the digital nomad lifestyle, and I have been remotely managing our team and transactions, but I am still in New Jersey often and am never too busy to talk real estate!
